BATTLE RIVER WRITING CENTRE is excited to announce that its June 21st 2019 writing gathering will be held at the edge of the river valley west of Heisler.

Heisler Poet, Lenard Calon and his wife, Pat, are the hosts for this special event that welcomes all interested writers (beginner to experienced and anyone in between).

More details including a map will follow, but for now here are some important details:

• Gathering starts with a tour at St. Martin’s Roman Catholic Church, 9:30 am

• Bring potluck items for munching and lunching

• Gathering features a  tour to interesting places in the surrounding area  

• Bring some of your own/new writing to share

• Be ready to write new material based on prompts from this amazing landscape.
